Grace and truth

 

Greater is he who is full of grace and truth being sent from the father than the one who is called the father of Lies.  1John 4:4; John 1:14; John 8:44

Be still and know, oh my soul; that your sinfulness, helplessness, and neediness is far greater than you think it is but be of good cheer, for your God is far more excellent, merciful, wise, and faithful than you think He is. Reference: The whole Bible especially Isaiah 6:5; 1Cor 1:30; and 2 Corinthians 5:21 I believe that with all my heart, yet there are times when I question this statement and wonder then why doesn't the assent to this statement not just bring heaven (God's grace) with all its healing power and mercy down to me and correct all the troubles within and without followed by peace of mind?

Our righteousness

  Take heart oh my soul, for the one who has become to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption is seated at the right hand of the father and is interceding for you. Therefore, he is able to save to the uttermost and make you stand in the presence of his glory, blameless and with great joy. 1 Cor 1:31; Rom 8:34; Heb 7:25; Jude 1:24
